Weekly, Monthly and Long-Term Rentals
We offer weekly (7 days) and monthly (28 days) rentals of portable SEMs at customer locations. We come set up the equipment and show you how to use it. Setup is typically done the day before the start of your rental to allow the system to pump down completely. Training to run both the SEM and EDS software is provided by our staff and typically takes less than 2 hours. We’re always available for phone support and our optional remote access support will help you if you need us to assist you with troubleshooting. Rentals include up to 4 hours of remote access support. Additional remote support is available upon request
EDS Chemical Analysis
All of our Phenom XL rental systems come equipped with Energy Dispersive Spectrometers (EDS) which can measure the chemical composition of samples. In addition to point analysis, the Phenom XL software provides EDS linescan and mapping capabilities.
Large Area Stitching
Our Phenom XL rental units come equipped with Automated Image Mapping for stitching of large samples into high resolution files. This software is often used for archiving sample data or finding small defects/features on large sample areas.
3D Surface Reconstruction
EMIT provides all of our customers with access to 3D Surface Reconstruction using shape from shading of the 4-quadrant backscattered detector. Within seconds a 3D surface scan can show detailed surface topography and comparative measurements of Ra, Rz and Sa
Particle Metric
With the optional Particle Metric software package, the Phenom XL turns into a powerhouse metrology machine for automated particle size and shape analysis of thousands of particles all at the click of a button.
